My thesis designs resource allocation and relay precoding for NOMA-based wireless (including cognitive radio) networks to handle massive connectivity and improve spectral efficiency. It develops robust optimization algorithms (MM and a WSR–WMSE reformulation) to maximize weighted sum-rate under imperfect CSI, and validates the gains through extensive simulations.
